Hi, I'm purchasing a phone for the first time since my Galaxy S II -- so I'm pretty out of the loop in terms of network requirements, and could use your help -- even partial advice would be great.
1.) Verizon: Is there a Gold-Platinum 64gb Verizon Note 5, which can work in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, South Korea and Japan (if possible, China, as well, that'd be great)? Since Verizon doesn't sell the Gold Platinum's itself, can you help me understand what I need to verify to make sure this is possible? I look at fleaBay and the Amazonian and while there seems to be some reliable retailers, they don't verify if the phones will work on Verizon's network & partner networks for those countries.
2.) T-Mobile: I'm also considering T-Mobile, since I heard they may be more friendly in this regard (international travel). Is that true? What network specs would I need for same, but on T-Mobile and its partner networks?
3.) Data Question: I'm located primarily in the U.S. Am I able to use data when I go to those other countries? Or do I need to make some other kind of accommodation? :'( Especially I'm concerned about data in Korea, Japan, and China.
Sorry if these are noob questions, my SII gave me a good run on Sprint; but this setup is totally inadequate for my future needs. :-$
Thank you,
GP
