64GB SD Card on HTC Evo V?

Hi, I will most likely be buying an HTC Evo V from virgin mobile as its the best prepaid phone out there. Officially it only goes up to 32GB with an SD card but I've heard 64GB cards work on it. Does anyone know for sure? I would really appreciate feedback.

I don't think it would hurt to try... It's just like any other sd card... But to be safe I would probably back up my contacts and important info before trying it just in case something happened and I needed to do a factory reset.

I only have a 8 GB sd card and I have barely put a dent in it lol. Dunno what I'd do with 64

It does work, just remember to format it in the phone from the settings, don't format it in the computer and put it in the phone.
