64GB seems more than enough for me!

I have everything I need installed on my new Pixel 2. I use Google Photos and stream my music. The only thing I download is podcasts using Pocket Casts but they are relatively small files and I only store the latest of each podcast.

I'm happy to see this because we've come to a time where 64GB isn't enough to the normal consumer. Everyone wants bigger, more & better.. But what's bigger and more for one person might not be better for another.

64GB would be fine for me. I just went with 128 to never care / load up what I want without thinking.

I had my 6P for 2 years and I only used 19 GB of 50+ avail. 2-3 GB was usually cached data that I would clear out every couple of months.

I've found that 'SD' card always shows up even if the phone doesn't have an SD slot - it's to do with compatibility and is emulated. I suppose if an app requires SD storage it still works. Someone more technical than me will surely know the answer. Notice that the file capacity is identical for internal and SD storage since it's the same thing in this case.

Yeah.. with unlimited streaming audio on Tmobile - I never need that much data. My phones use to be full of music. Also, all the google photos save for free to the cloud so why bother saving them to the phone?
