Does Google have any history of having deals for the nexus line on these 2 shopping "holidays"? I'm just curious if I should maybe jump on a good deal if I see one on swappa or just wait for those 2 days and try and get one straight from Google on sale. Anyone know?

I seriously doubt Google will have a sale on this as it just came out and they already have limited selection as it is. Best bet is probably buy from Google Store now unless you want one immediately then do Swappa but you will likely pay more than what it is worth. I have not saw any that were lower priced on Swappa than the cost on Google Store so it wouldnt really be a "good deal"

Seen a few that had some cases and car charger or extra wires and screen protectors thrown in that I thought were solid deals. One guy right now has the 64gb graphite with a case and car charger for 590 which I don't think is too bad of a deal.

that doesn't sound like a great deal to me ... the phone new is $550 and even if it's the microfiber case from Google you're talking $35 plus the car charger ... I'd rather get it new (also with the option for Nexus protect) for a slight premium.

the phone itself won't be discounted (not a chance, they'd **** off all their loyal customers that preordered) BUT I wouldn't be shocked to see a Google Play credit or maybe a discount on some accessories.

Lol, this seems to get asked w/each new Nexus device. Never seen a BF sale on the newest release.

Now, if you're looking for a Chromebook 2 or Surface Pro 3... 😉

With taxes in my state 2 Google USB a-c wires and a 64gb 6p with no nexus protect is 620. There's a few with multiple cases and Google approved extra USB c and USB a-c wires for about 620. But I agree with you, hard to pull the trigger when for a little bit more you can get that brand new feeling

Ended up going straight from Google. Couldn't fight the urge anymore
