Hello folks.

I tried taking some close up shots of some car parts I'm selling online and the darn camera won't focus in on the close up aspect/details that I want to capture ... just ends up blurrying the focus. The only part of the photo that comes across clear is the background of the shot; but not the actual subject.

What are your experience(s), thoughts, input on the 6P's camera and also what are some of your suggestions to crank out better shots overall?

So far mine has been good. Did you try and set the focus point if it wasn't finding it automatically ?

just means you're too close. every camera/lens have a close focus distance. For the spot that works and then crop and sharpen it later for the details you want

Mine doesn't work all the way up close but pretty good at about 6-10"

I was doing my expense reports and I held my phone about 6-8" and it focuses clearly. How far are you from the object and your lens?

Try moving away from it. And then cropping. Other option is a macro lens adapter which will allow for closer focusing.
