As a current user of the LG G4 the software is a bit wonky. I just pre-ordered a 6P.

As a current user of the LG G3, I will not go near LG after their issues with Lollipop from SMS/MMS issues to horrible battery life with no signs of fixes.

It's a shame to hear this. LG really does well with hardware

What kind of issues do you have? I'm moving from the G3 to the 6P and I assumed some of my texting issues were because I was on TMobile. There's times where MMS messages are going back and forth in a big group and I don't get half the messages, or they come in super late. My girlfriend has a G4 and was sitting right next to me getting all of the messages either 5 minutes before me or getting messages I never got. It also seems when I start getting MMS messages that the phone gets hot and just absolutely crawls. It's really frustrating. I have some other factors such as my phone being encrypted for my work email and thought this could have been the cause as well. I might keep the G3 just for work email as I'd like to keep the 6P as natural as possible.

In regards to the v10 though, I have been a fan of LG but I'm not interested in this phone, I'd rather have a Nexus. This phone is a great option for the lovers of SD Cards and Removable batteries (that was me a few years ago until I realized I rarely removed my battery and I've only used 16GB of the 32GB I have currently on my phone). It does have more ram but uses LPDDR3 vs the Nexus 6p LPDDR4, and despite all the hate for SD810, it's the better processor and I'm not as concerned as others with it's heating problem.

For me it was always going to be the 6P or 5X. Great hardware is important, but to get Pure Google I'll tolerate a hardware deficit if I have to; I'm a Nexus man.

I had a G4 and it was a really nice phone but the LG skin really gets to you after awhile. Yes you can use launchers but it's still no comparison to stock android. I'd sacrifice some hardware specs to be able to have the Nexus.

I wouldn't even say you're sacrificing much in the hardware department honestly. If the 6P camera is as good as they're saying, I think it'll be a dynamite phone and when it comes down to it, it's about how it performs with the OS. Everybody is complaining about the specs of the 5X, but who's to say it doesn't perform better than these higher speced phones? I love the high specs, but the spec war is a little overplayed in the mobile market.

Exactly the issue. MMS delays, SMS doesn't send and so on. And issue with the software from VZW tech support and they said its on a majority of G3 users on Android 5.0. Not VZW network. And I barely get 2 hours screen on time with light usage.

Their hardware is great but software is lacking.
