So I have to ask I hope I don't get flamed for it, but any word on support for Wifi Calling and VoLTE?

Seems Google worked something out and they have full Wifi Calling and VoLTE support for unlocked models.

I use my OP6 on AT&T and there is no wifi calling or VoLTE capabilities at this time

No, at&t only gives those functions on their network to at&t branded phones. The OP6 is only available direct from One plus or t-mobile.

FWIW, according to this Verge article wi-fi calling and VoLTE should work on Verizon:
In an interview, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau told me (through a translator) that getting a phone on Verizon’s network wasn’t possible for OnePlus until Verizon launched its certification program for open-market devices or phones not sold by Verizon. Once that was available, it took OnePlus about a year to get its devices certified for use on Verizon. OnePlus also extended its network compatibility worldwide: the 6T now works on 233 carriers in 74 countries.

The OnePlus 6T has support for Verizon’s primary LTE band as well as features like VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling on the network. According to OnePlus, the Verizon experience should be like any other carrier: pop a Verizon SIM card in, and it should just work. If you don’t already have Verizon service and want to activate a OnePlus 6T on the network, you just have to go to a Verizon store, and it can be done.

Yes I see that they finally allow WiFi calling with the pixel 3. But does that extend to the op6/t?

No it does not (unless something has changed that I am not getting on my OP6?) I don't even see anywhere to enable WiFi calling or VoLTE on my OP6?

I have T-mo on SIM 1 and AT&T on SIM 2.

No wifi calling or VoLTE on the AT&T SIM.

For me, AT&T is only used as a back up so I'm ok with not having those features.

I saw on XDA that some people got it to work on the 6 with AT&T.

This is the exact setup I plan on doing when I get my 6T. I've never had a dual sim phone before. How is everything working? Are the phone dial and text messaging app integrated with dual sim features?

Thanks and sorry to the OP for this little thread hijack.

I have att in slot one and Verizon in slot two. Right now I have an icon that says VoLTE 2 but no wifi calling for att.

I assume this means VoLTE for Sim 2Verizon and no VoLTE for AT&T. I'm pretty much stuck with AT&T. I'm only considering unlocked phones that support VoLTE with AT&T and that list is pretty short.

For what it's worth, when i put my wife's att sim in her pixel 3, the att app automatically recognizes it as a pixel 3. When i did the same for my 6T, the app says unknown phone. Something in their system definitely does recognize the Pixel.
