8-core S4 Just Got More Real

I have a nexus 4 and if this thing comes on the next samsung flagship, I might be picking it up (especially if my nexus doesnt get LTE from T-Mo when it comes out like the S3 will). Likewise, If it comes on Samsungs next 10 inch tablet, I may also pick it up. I want this beast.

I wouldnt expect this in the GS IV. More like the Note 3 and Note 2 10.1, to emphasize the multitasking with muti-window functionality. \

I still expect the S IV to have a Exynos 5 quad

I would agree with later devices.

8 cores? This sounds like a real battery saver.

That is actually the point of the big.Little architecture. Its more of a 4 core processor x2. One of the 4 core processors is more energy efficient, while the other is very powerful.

im wondering what the performance of the octo core would be, qualcomm, one of the main competitors for mobile CPUs said the samsung cotocore will not even be close to the speed of their snapdragon 4 core CPU

The other issue with octacore is LTE capability. The GS3 in the US got dualcore compatible with LTE thus the Snapdragon Qualcomm.
