The MVNO that I am using is Visible. One objection I have is never getting the monthly security updates like Verizon does. Is not getting regular security updates a drawback of all MVNOs?

I would suggest anyone that doesn't mind MVNO, try US Mobile. None of the good stuff with US Mobile is even listed. 1 very important perk for US Mobile, they use all 3 big carriers. You can switch between all 3 pretty much anytime you want. I'm in Michigan and t-mobile is an ok choice but Verizon is the best for me. From what I can tell with trying all 3 carriers on US Mobile, Verizon is the best and the only choice with premium data. Normally premium data usually means you don't get slowed down during network congestion. But some carriers use the term differently. Do yourself a favor, try US Mobile.
