Anybody else upset at this absurd price point by Google?

The iPad Air 2 is $499 for 16 GB, $599 for 64 GB.

Even the Nexus 6 is $650 for $32 GB, $700 for 64 GB.

This isn't 2010 anymore. We shouldn't be allowing companies to jack up prices for internal memory when it literally costs pennies more to manufacture.

If there was an SD Card slot, I wouldn't care as much, but seeing as there is not, I fully agree with you. Also, not even having a 64GB option is limiting the usefulness for me. I want to be able to load up a bunch of movies and apps for trips. Oftentimes I will be without internet.

I'll give it some time to see if they drop any pricing...

I've no idea why they would even release a 16GB tablet in 2014 at this point, much less overcharge for the upgrade.

They shouldn't even start at less than 32GB. And if as a consumer I can double to 64 for $19 bucks, then they shouldn't charge us more than $25 for the same privilege.
