Google to debut US$99 Nexus tablet in 4Q12, say Taiwan makers

The US$99 Nexus tablet is equipped with an ARM-architecture single-core processor 8950 developed by China-based WonderMedia Technologies, and a HUVA TN panel made by Taiwan-based HannStar Display, the sources said. The tablet will be produced by Taiwan-based Quanta Computer.

My Taiwan sources tell me Google is working on an $9.99 Nexus tablet that will feature an aluminum powder display and two white control knobs. It has infinite battery life and can be reset by turning it over and shaking. Coming sometime in Q4 2012.
