A bit concerned about going Mainstream

Re ICS, Nexus phones have previously been aimed at developers / people willing to be "Beta" testers for Android. Given Nexus phones get the updates first, I have endured a few crappy Gingerbread releases (2.3.4 onwards was great).

I really hope Goog don't screw this up!
