Recently purchased the white gs3 after being an iPhone user for many many years. Dear lord this thing is amazing. Android is amazing. Best decision I could make.
Any who, I dig the thinness of the phone so I'm not real keen on putting a case on it. I have a screen protector now, but am worried about the camera lens getting scratched while setting in down because of it being purtruding out the back cover. I'm wondering if anyone can point me to a sturdier back door replacement for my gs3? One where the camera is recessed behind the door a bit. I plan on slapping on a bumper for a bit more protection.

Thank you good sirs and maams

There are a couple case threads on here that you could peruse for some ideas. Personally, I really like the Elago cases. They are very thin, fit well, and come in several colors.

I am using a seidio active 2 layer case which is great you put the phone into the rubber part then put the plasic part over it the plastic part protects the corners of the phone and the back side camera it adds just a little thickness not much and the rubber part leaves a nice lip that sits higher than the screen which in turn provides protection when you place your phone face down. I like it I have the regular active case and the active case with the metal kickstand. I primarily use the one without the kickstand. I have dropped my phone 2 times at between 1-3 feet up onto the carpet and once on my hard plastic desk chair floor thing not a scratch works perfectly.

I have this case too and really like it -- great protection, but it does add some bulk to the phone so if you're looking for more of a minimalist type of case setup, this one may not be for you.

(Am I the only one having issues getting the "reply with quote" option to work today?)
