Hello Android Central... after being on a Blackberry for the last 3 years, I finally got fed up and jumped ship over to the Droid less than 2 weeks ago. I'd like to think I'm figuring it out but I thought I would come over here and browse the forums and it said to introduce myself by making this post.

Not a usual one to be at a loss for words... but I find myself not knowing what to say at the moment.

Anyway, I look forward to exploring the Droid world with all of my new found forum friends and I want to thank you in advance for your help in the future... take care ya'll!

As mentioned, I had been on a BB for about 3 years, the last one being a Bold 9650 and after going through 4 phones within 45 days and not being eligible for an upgrade until Feb '12, finally the loyalty dept. at VZW hooked me up with a Motorola Droid 2 Global at no charge. So yes, it was a refurbished phone since it was sent out to me at no charge... I got this phone on a Friday, had it all weekend and was getting used to it and when I got to work on Monday morning, got a text message from VZW telling me 'congrats, you are eligible for an upgrade!' WTF? So anywho... it was time for my mother to upgrade as well and she was going out of town soon so I took her in to our local store and took advantage of my upgrade option and chose the HTC Inc2...

Thanks again for the warm welcome! Sadly, time for bed... the reality of Monday is closing in on me
