I bought the case listed below from Verizon, same price as Amazon unless you get employee discount thru Verizon.

This case is the only one for edge screens that give the edge screen this much protection. The case sides come up even with the screen. You can still operate the edge panel.

This is nice protection for the edges which is the weakest point of the phone, but if you really want the edges to show that won't happen with this case, but if you drop the phone with this case the edges are protected. If your dissapointed and don't want the edges, this case might be for you. Order thru your carrier where you have the 14 day return window with no shipping to return.

Speck Products Presidio Clear Cell Phone Case for Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus - Clear/Clear https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06W55K72...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU5776800

I always go to speck... covers the edged nicely and you don't lose function of the edge screen

lol wut? This is a generic tpu (or polycarbinate?) case by a manufacturer who prides itself in overcharging you by %400 for accessories. This is basic protection and does nothing different that other edge protectors feature.

I recommend the Otterbox Defender for the S8 Plus. Depending on color it's around 30 bucks and Best Buy will price match Amazon. Cheaper and far better than the Speck which I don't like the new type cases. The Candyshell Grip was made better IMO.

The Candyshell Grip and Presidio Grip are basically the same thing....unless I'm missing something.

How is the defender compared to the Presidio from a thickness standpoint? I would think the defender is more than double the thickness....

$45 for a clear case?!
cheese whiz.
there's got to be something more reasonable out there.
does it include repair/replace insurance?

and it's only got a 3.5 star rating
