Should Apple-Samsung expend 1% of its Profits: Contracting a battery research company to create a Removable phone-Battery that "Last out" 3years and
then replaced for another-1: With the same durability period..will be great

Think of a digital-Watch that get Installed batteries that last 3yrs too..If that is possible
Why not in Mobile phones: Because is a Pain recharge phones daily or twice a day..
Do you think-Androiders that, something like that will happen in the Near future.?

Do you mean with or without charging during the three years? If the latter, I cannot imagine that we are anywhere near to such technology, assuming it were even possible.

Batteries with a long lifespan for low-power devices already exist.

Thanks-Belodion for take Part in this discussion. Well let's lower the battery
durability to 1year and of course--Would be without charging: We never
can't say-No this is impossible. Who knows the Chineses come Up

with a solution-Huhaa!..I'll send the idea to Samsung and Apple
Meantime let's heard More opinions on this subject folks

My Note 4 already has it. It's called "spare battery"! LOL!

I was going to answer the same way belodian did... there's no tech for it as you describe. Plus, usage varies between users, so the battery would drain faster for some people and slower for others. Additionally, first adaptations would be costly. I'd rather charge and swap batteries.

I like the idea in concept! I know some people are working with fuel cell technology which will create MUCH longer life batteries, although I doubt they will last THAT long. I agree it's a good idea to work towards! :)

Currently, most smartphones barely make it through a day. I doubt we're anywhere near 3 years. Let's start easier, how about a week?

Just think about it, that much energy (3 years worth) packed in such a small battery is extremely dangerous. Even the 3,500mah battery of the Note 7 can combust and burn an entire house. This 3 year battery can probably explode and destroy an entire city!
