A concerned member

It's no secret that I have expressed concern over the new focus and what this means for news coverage. I feel having stories and rumors in a ticker takes away depth and focus on a particular topic that can't be fully expressed in a couple sentences. But I can't help but feel that mainstream news is being pushed to the side a bit? And i and several others don't feel this is the right move.

Sorry for posting here alot I just express concern for the site and am sharing my opinion if you don't like it just don't pay me any mind I'm not looking to stir up a trollfight.
