If I am restoring my phone (I just totally wiped my phone on accident after putting the froyo radio back on and getting rid of the gb one) do I need to clear the cashes and stuff again? Or is that only when flashing between ROMs?

For example, if I have a ROM installed and want to flash back to a previous backup of stock android (my original system) do I need to clear the cashes and stuff? I did a system restore before but that totally wiped my phone and I lost root.

Also, why cant I download the das bamf remix file from xda? Does anyone have a different link?

your confusing me a little bit, If you flashed back to the Froyo radio, then you absolutely need to flash to aa froyo rom...which yes you need to wipe data and cache. Doing a system restore doesnt unroot your phone, flashing the stock rom in hboot will.
