I preordered the Atrix and at first loved it. Within 30 days it was exchanged as it kept powering off. The next one lasted about 2-3 months then went back with serious screen issues. The screen would go crazy, like it was randomly being pressed all over. It honestly looked like it was having a seizure. Number 3 lasted until recent. The wifi went out and the phone would reset, a lot. Long story short, after att offered me the option of my 4th Atrix or a free pantech, I told them to shove it.
The Bionic is much faster. Even on wifi, downloads are much faster. If I stay off 4G, the battery isnt much worse than the Atrix was. I have to admit, I was able to make it till 8pm with no problems with the Atrix. I also wasn't using a bunch of battery saver aps, I just used it and it lasted.
The wifi signal is much stronger, I am able to go anywhere in my house with full strength wifi. None of my atrixs could do that, and performance showed too.
The bionic starts quicker. By a few minutes too, the Atrix acted like a PC, even once it was booted, it still took a bit before everything was up and running where you could use it.
I miss the fingerprint scanner. I had good luck with mine, every now and then I had to reboot to get it working again. That was far between though, I hoped this was going to be something that caught on.
The Atrix was glitchyer than the Bionic. I know their specs are similar, but they really are 2 different machines.
And the difference of networks? I have full service of 3G in my house, with 4G a mile away (hopefully coming here soon) where as with att i had 2 bars of Edge.....
So far, this is the best move I have made so far...
