A few problems with my atrix.

Lately I've been having a few problems that are annoying me with my atrix.

Every time I unplug my phone from my laptop or my hd tv dock my phone reboots.... when I unplug it from a regular charger it's fine tho. I don't know what's causing this. and it's really annoying.


I use GO SMS for my text messaging app. I've had people tell me lately that i'm sending double texts (the same thing twice) and I reinstalled the app but it's still doing it from time to time. also whenever i turn my phone off / it looses power and turn it back on go sms sends random text messages to random people that i've said hours ago.

i realize that i should just get rid of go sms and try something else... but just wondering if anyone was experiencing those problems with it. and if anyone else uses a diffrent app besides go sms.... i don't really care for the stock text app

any help would be appreciated

The rebooting happens to me, too, sometimes when I first plug the USB into the phone and sometimes when I unplug it.

The go sms i have seen issues with all over with my friends who use it on different phones with different carriera. Just get rid of it and try maybe handcent or something.

I have not seen the reboot issue, has that been going on for long or is it more recent? Like after the gingerbread update?

The reboot thing is the main problem and it did start a little after the gingerbread update...

That's about when it started for me also.

You might want to consider doing a factory reset. That might do the trick. If not that, then you might also want to try downgrading back to froyo. My atrix is on the latest gingerbread update for it and it doesnt reboot.

I am having similar issues. Mine does it after doing any streaming data, or playing music from the sd card. I have another phone coming through warranty. So maybe that one will work better.

My phone has been restarting on his own lately. Or I do not receive any texts/calls UNTIL I reset it manually or it does it on its own.
