a few question (new user)

Hi guys. I buyed a new LG Optimus G. Have a few questions:

1. How can i change the application icon?
2. How long should battery last if you dont use phone for whole day? Is it true that on Galaxy S2 it last 2 weeks?
3. Can somebody please tell me what is whatsapp? Is this free sms sending or something like that?

Change app icon: 1) long press icon; 2) mini purple icon should appear; 3) press mini purple icon; 4) choose new icon
You could also use Nova Launcher if you want to use specific icon packs or create custom icons.

Batter life: It should last at least a few days if it's not being used. This means no Wi-Fi, notifications, syncing, etc.
I had the GS2 and it did not get 2 weeks stand-by time. It would last less than a week if it was on but nothing was being used.

I can change all icons, only with applications i dont get this purple icon.

I buyed it yesterday. Battery is lasting 1 day 11 hours so far and i have 5%. And i didnt use it much, maybe 2 hours.

Where can i find some skins, layouts for text messaging?

Another question. Are there smilies for sms? Cant find.
