1. When using the Smart Lock feature where you don't need a passcode when your phone is connected to a secure bluetooth device, I still have to swipe on the screen after turning it on in order to get to the phone. So in essence, it still has a lock which is bypassed with a swipe of the screen. Is there any way to avoid this and have the phone ready to go once the screen is turned on?

2. For the T-Mobile owners, is there a way to make the phone not do the T-Mobile jingle when restarting it?

3. With the stock messaging app, when I type in a contact to message, it pops up email addresses as well as phone numbers. It also brings up contacts I don't have saved to my phone (maybe it's using Facebook or something else as well). Is there a way to only show my phone book contacts and only numbers?

With Tasker. Bluetooth, particular wifi connections, NFC tags, whatever you want to use to say "shut off the swipe screen for now". Mine opens on the desktop when I'm in certain secure areas, then locks down tight when I leave them (I even turn USB debugging off when I'm out and about - that's an easy way sor a thief to get into your phone and reset passwords.).

Silent Boot might work on the S6. Rooting the phone and putting in a blank startup mp3 file will work on all phones. (Record 1 second of silence and use it as the startup "music".)

I don't think so.

#1- if you use an unlock security it will always ask you to swipe when using Smart Unlock, try to see if you have the None option under security and use that and then combine it with Smart Unlock and see if it works, but in my case I've always hated lock options and since the fingerprint is so fast and easy I just turn off Smart Unlock, put my finger in the home button, press it and in less than a second is unlocked but for the first time really protecting my phone.

#3- main reason I switched to a third party and in particular to Textra, try it and you will see.

I used smart lock for a while but switched to just using the fingerprint scanner for this reason
