Is there any talk of an updated new Turbo in the works? I have had mine for a long time and would love to get a new and improved version?

A long time? The current one isn't even a year old yet! By your standards, my 2013 Moto X is positively ANCIENT (I've had it for 18 months). I visit the Turbo forum as my mom has one, I'm not trying to troll anyone...

I have had it since shortly after launch.. It is at least a year ago ( I think)...maybe just anxious to get something new

There have been rumors of a couple of new Motorola phones going through fcc approval, and it's likely that one is an X and one is a new Droid. Other than that, nothing official or unofficial. Verizon has released a new Droid every year near or in the fall the last few years, so it's likely a new one is coming. You can probably count on it, in fact.

I doubt that it will be called a Turbo again, though. I think it will probably be called something else. (I'm hoping that they get serious about the camera finally this year and call it something like the Droid Capture. But the last two Droids have been given a name to match a selling feature of the device - ultra, for ultra thin; Maxx, for its large battery; mini, for its smaller size at a time when everything was huge; and turbo, for the fast charging feature. I'm betting that continue that this year rather than do something like a Turbo 2.)

Thanks.. I just hope they keep the same battery and size.. The 5.2 inch is perfect for me.. I agree the camera should be better

The "new" Turbo is reportedly the Motorola "Kinzie" and supposedly has some phenomenal benchmarks. You can find some limited info on it with a Google search.

I think the 5.2 is the sweet spot for a "normal" phone.

I am curious if the new one will have captive keys or not, i dont care either way but i am curious.

I just hope they keep with big battery, motorola was smart not to release a droid thin and then one with a big battery last year. I think most people who buy a droid now days are looking for the battery that gets them through a long day.
