I saw that the other day. Really cool concept but not as easy to design boards that plug in and out like that. Also, you'd never see any company make it, even if they could. They design phones with a plan of planned obsolescence. They WANT you to have to buy a new phone all the time. As cool as it would be, I have a feeling it will only ever be the video we see up there and nothing more.

That an a universal kernel shared by all OEM's seems implausible.

I think the phone parts would be where they make the $$. I like the whole idea though, I'm sure there are holes that need to worked around/fixed. I'd buy this phone though
