Just wanted to send a public thank you to Cory and anyone else who made it possible for us Mac users to root the Thunderbolt. Outstanding step by step directions. As a first-time rooter that was important. I have downloaded superuser and wireless tether, which is huge, because I'm using the phones hotspot to serve as my home internet!
BTW, this may have already been published before, but I have figured a way around being able to get ESPN 3 on the droid for those of you who have Verizon. Basically, all you have to do is sign up for an AT&T email address and choose AT&T as your ISP and it allows access.
