A question about the next phone you guys and girls get

I got the T-Bolt when it first came out on a 1 year contract. I have the Unlimited Web. Say at the CES show in January. There's a phone I want to get. Can Verizon say that; I can sign another contract, but I have to change to the tiered data plan, or will my data plan stay the same?

Your data plan should stay the same. But I believe you'll need to sign up for a 2 year contract.

AFAIK, the only 1 year contracts left are the ones for business/corporate negotiated plans. Even when you get a "discount" through your employer, which a lot of us do, that that does not automatically equal a "business/corporate" negotiated plan. You can tell if when you logon to "My Verizon" you have to choose "My Personal Account" or "My Business Account" to logon.

I think if you "bit@h" enough and threaten to leave they'll sign you up for a 1 year contract.
