There are a lot of people in the forum now that are either 1) new to android, 2) new to HTC/Sense 3) New to ICS (me!) 4) New to smartphones period!

So, when posting about a setting that needs to be changed or checked or the like, it would be an extreme help to a lot of people if the poster could include the step-by-step process of actually getting to the page/screen/setting/switch you are talking about.

For example below is a post about the "Best wi-fi" setting on the phone. It was a great post but I am sure a lot of people had no idea how to get to the page to see if the "best wi-fi" setting was checked or not. (Its about a 4 step process to get to the page where the setting is) several of the people responding obviously knew how to get there or were able to figure it out on their own, but I'm sure some were left wondering how to find where this was even located.

I know I had a heck of a time finding where the "beats" audio control was while reading a thread that was talking about if it was better to turn it on or turn it off. Just couldn't find the thing until somebody kindly responded to my plea of ignorance.

So, just a friendly request to keep in mind those that don't have all the knowledge you may have on an issue like this, especially with a brand new phone that clearly is drawing a lot of new people to it (and to the forums!)

For those new to android or forums, the generally accepted way to explain navigation which is easy to follow and easy to type is usually something similar to ...

Menu > System Settings > More > Mobile network - data enabled.

That was how I'd enable data on my NS4G. The arrows point the way and differentiate menus. It's not a rule or anything weird just a nice courtesy.
