I thought it was deserving of a Thread.

I just wanted to say THANKS Pville for keeping the Dinc Roms topic up to date.
I know its much appreciated by many of us who are hanging onto our DInc's
It seems so many have bailed on the Dinc for the TB
Personally I dont see the TB being a real upgrade from the Dinc. I am waiting for something with dual core cpu to come around.

Anyway, Big Thanks Dude!

My first incursion to Android Central was to ask people's opinions about the 3500 mAh battery, and Pville answered my post within an hour or so. Ever since, he's been as (if not more so) helpful. You definitely have my thanks as well!

Thank you all for your kind thoughts, but this is not about me. It's about the team.

I may have lasted longer than others may have, but it's all about building a team of people who can help new folks. Others before me like Cory, Adrenalin, Qzame, Tony Bag O Donuts and CrackHead to name only a few, taught me so much.

It is my hope that I can help you so that you can help others here or in other threads. It is my hope that you learn the fundamentals well enough that you can pick up any phone and in a few minutes of reading be an expert, because the details change but the fundamentals don't.

Please don't turn this into a memorial thread, I'm not dead yet. I appreciate the sentiment, however you do me a bigger honor by going out and helping others and remembering your fundamentals.

Yeah I remember when all those where still a regular(s) in the incredible threads as well.
Its interesting to watch the people learn from others then pass down the knowledge its a never ending thing thats great about this forum.

I think Pville has done a good job of passing down this knowledge as well and have All ready see that trend continue by reading post of others that learned from Pville's tips.The "knowledge team" just continues to grow,,,,, just like android army marches on

I wish i could abduct Pville and take him with me to the TBOLT forums... It is (seems to me) to be harder to get answers ever there... I have had one nagging question and just cant get answered straight.... never had that problem in the incredible forums. oh well, maybe (since I still have my Inc) I will break my TBOLT on the ground and come back JK... I will still be around... its honestly like a fam of peeps in the incredible forums... I apreeciate ALL of you. and you KNOW you are

Not to go off topic, and not that I'm getting one but didn't you post your impressions of the Tbolt? I'd be interested to hear how its going a week in now.

It is going great... no cosmetic issues and battery life isn't to bad either.. i am one of the lucky ones that have had no issue since the new update too I just am not the biggest fan of the TBOLT forums, hard to get straight answers sometimes... and def don't have the dedication that you all do to helping others out... I want to root which I cant right now, and I want to pass on knowledge to others, perhaps someday I could be the next PVILLE in the TBOLT forums but I doubt, thats some large shoes to fill

Thanks I am on there at least once a week trying to keep up with any new roms ( old and new ) the list is very organized and up to date

I just am not the biggest fan of the TBOLT forums, hard to get straight answers sometimes... and def don't have the dedication that you all do to helping others out...

the tbolt forums have lots and lots of people who just got their bolts and TONS of new-to-android users (bb converts etc). but there are alot of very helpful people over there, esp droidxcon and mclarryjr and cory s and cyber warrior for the how-to's but a bunch of other people i won't name so i don't mess up and leave anybody out.
but it's really crowded compared to the the super friends droid incredible forums.
