So everyone already seen the radioshack ads with getting a 100$ for your Evo/Shift and the 3D will then be a 100$ with the upgrade. After thinking, Sprint does the buy-back program at their stores, and will most likely give me more then 100$ for my Shift, so does that mean that its a better deal to go to the Sprint store with my upgrade (July 1st) and trade in the Shift and get the 3D which will make it even less then 100$ or what? Slightly confused on it.

Sprint WILL buy back ANY device. They even offered to buy back my Pre *snicker* ;) I'd check with both stores locally before I committed, top see what you'll REALLY get top dollar for your trade! That's starting to sound a bit like a car dealer, huh? :D

Hahha yeah man. Because I previously traded in my OG Evo for the Shift and got 150$ for it from Sprint which IMO is just better then dealing with buying the phone at the store, then having to sell the other one. Just a more convenient way and I have no problem with paying 100$ or even less for the 3D and giving them my Shift.

Do you think I should go pre-order the phone, or will it be not a problem to get come July 1st.

History with the Evo tells us that if you didn't pre order one, you probably won't get one on launch day. With that said, I suggest you pre order.

Take this how you want, but when I went to preorder the guy in Radioshack said that they may give more than $100 for the Evo and the shift

Radio Shack has this thing on their website where you can assess about how much you will get for your phone as trade in. When I was as honest as I could with my Evo, the thing spit out $177 as trade in value for my phone, so when I saw that now RS tells you that you get 100 bones for the Evo, I was pretty upset...but...oh well, we were put on this earth to be screwed by large corporations, so I guess I'll bend over and take it like a man! LOL

Nice! Yeah I had a tough time getting the Evo July last year, but that was also probably due to the Evo being the revolutionary device. Nowadays every month theires a new 4.3" screen with dual-core and gigs of ram coming out so not all of the market will be on the Evo like this time last year.

I am still debating on going with the Evo 3D or the Nexus. Decisions decisions, damn.

Make a list of Pros and Cons between the Evo 3d and the Nexus S. Hm, actually, make one between the Nexus S and the Evo 4G.

Getting the Nexus S now will:

- Give you a prettier display, with a smaller screen and the same resolution, kind of a toss up as far as upgrade is concerned.
- Gives you a faster processor, especially when it comes to games due to better 3d graphics chip
- No upgrade in connectiviy, that stays the same
- No more kickstand
- No more Sense UI. Depending on the person that's either a good or a bad thing, I like Sense, I would miss it

Can't think of any more from the top of my head. But...personally, I wouldn't consider the Nexus S unless you are a die hard Vanilla Android guy.

That's true. The thing is with the Nexus ill be able to get ICS and other updates months before others plus having seen my friends epic screen the display is brilliant. One thing I hated about my evo is how the display and colors looked so washed out. The dual cores I heard are held back due to sense and watching the reviews of the sensation I'm not that impressed really compared to the galaxy s2. If only those phones came out july 1st /sigh

- No sd card slot :(

I may have to "borrow" a phone for 30 days from sprint just to get the 3D
