Oneplus 5 android 8.1 build version A5000_23_180911
All worked well until 3 days ago when the phone lost connection with my car system (Toyota). when trying to reconnect both sides recognize each other but i'm missing the confirmation screen on the phone (its stays in "paring" mode for a minute or so and then informs me "the connection failed due to mismatching PIN or passkey". The problem is consistent with every other Bluetooth device which requires passkey confirmation on both sides but my smart bracelet still connects just fine.
I tried all the usual tricks (restart, cleaning all the devices on the car, network reset on the phone, changed several CODECs etc. I even went as far as factory reset the phone) but nothing worked.
I also tried connecting to my car with an identical phone which connects just fine.
Any creative out of the box ideas will be much appreciated
