A1: System Deleting Apps

Have an interesting problem. My new A1 is deleting certain apps. If I download an app from the Market or Amazon Appstore, it functions perfectly. So far, three have done this: Adobe Reader, Okey (a rummy-like game) and Monopoly. When I power down the tablet something happens because when I restart it the applications are gone. There is just a stub that does nothing. The weirdest thing. I downloaded Adobe Reader from the Amazon Appstore, and it stays put. The version from the Market deletes itself.

Anyone have any insight into this problem? I have contacted Lenovo support, but I think this is going to turn out to have been a waste of time.
