For those of you who have this phone and have a bluetooth device, please help me. When I go to settings/wireless & networks/bluetooth settings/my paired headset, it does not give me the option for media.

if you long press on the device, you get an options box. The should be 3 boxes. The third one should have a media box, which would allow you to stream media using a2dp. However, this option is not available on my Conquer. What I would like to find out is whether this is a software or hardware problem.

I cannot believe that this device would be released and offer only half way bluetooth capability.

I found a solution.

A2DP Bluetooth Issue Pairing to Android - xda-developers

A2DP is native to android but its glitchy. As per the thread above, I unpaired and went to pair it up again. It asked me for the password. I shut off my headset and started it up in pairing mode. This triggered the headphone icon and alas I have a2dp.

In short, the device does not always recognize if you have a2dp, so you have to force it to restart and see it.
