Mine didn't work. Plugged my S5 (Virign Mobile, on Sprint network) into my 2015 Sonata, nothing happened.

Do you have the Sonata's firmware updated to use Android Auto?

Also, make sure that the following is true of your phone:
1. Google Play Services version 7.5.71 or later
2. Latest Android Auto version.
3. Latest version of Google Maps, Google app, and Google Play music on your phone.
4. Latest security policy update (under "SE Linux" on "About Phone" menu, also, go to Settings > Security > Security Policy Updates to make sure this is up to date).
