AA scrolls from screen to screen

I have the Kenwood DDX9902s and an Galaxy Note3 Lollipop 5.0 on verizon . This is my second kenwood and the first one did not have this problem. it just keeps scrolling through all the screens in AA. You can still select what you want then it will start scrolling again, very annoying. I have tried all the menus in the HU but cant seem to find out why it's doing this. Any help?

I have done some reading on this site and decided to try the usb debugging mode. Now the HU doesnt even recognize that anything is plugged into the usb cable. I see that it is charging but nothing else. What the hell? I know at least the screen is not scrolling, but now it's a boat anchor.

OK it was developer mode blocking it from hooking up with AA. That is solved but now I still have the same scrolling issue. I have replace the cable with a factory Samsung cable, no change.

I am having this same issue on my note 5. The phone, navigation and music menus work fine but when I am on the home screen it just flashes through the screens. I have reset my Kenwood and same issue.

Who do you call? Samsung was useless, Kenwood says call Google. ...

Very frustrating.
