AAC no longer plays with froyo (2.2)

Hi, i manually updated my N1 today, all great except i was wondering why my custom tones/notifications were no longer working.
i looked on the sd card and indeed the tones were still there, but i couldnt play them with anything on the phone.
turns out AAC no longer works, so ive had to convert them to .mp3 (not ideal, lossy transcode)

so anyone else noticed they cant play aac anymore with froyo?

Yeah, i certainly noticed. Kept getting an nullpointerexeption for a while before i figured that out! Has anyone seen any release notes about this?

All of my .AAC music files work in the music player, so I'm not sure what you guys are talking about.
