First off I want to thank everyone on this forum and XDA. The TB is my first android phone and I thought i was never going to be able to root it myself but after a lot of reading I did it.

I have already loaded the perfect storm ROM and was wondering if verizon releases an update for the phone would I still be able to update with no problems?

Since you are running a custom rom, I do not think you would be able to do so OTA. When VZW releases an update, it will show up in the forums and you could load it that way. But to be honest, I am not sure why you would want to. The developers will always have the latest and greatest built in to their roms. IMHO, there is no reason to "upgrade" to a release from vzw/htc. I do keep a flashable copy on my pc should the phone need to be returned to them for any reason.

Good luck

A possible 4G toggle would be the only reason I would DL a VZW update.

Thanks I'm new to this and appreciate the reply.

When upgrades come out for custom ROMS do you have to flash all over again or is there a way to just upgrade?

You need to flash again.. If it's an update to the same ROM, (ex.. going from ROM A 1.2.3 to ROM A 1.2.4) in most cases you will not need to wipe the data/cache before flashing.
If it's a completely different ROM... you need to wipe data/cache before flashing.

speaking of flashing ROM's, how do we boot into recovery instead of using the terminal commands on the desktop? Or are we still a bit early on the TB?
