Abnormal MyTouch 4G Ginger Bread system Reset

I have has this phone since winter of 2010. First one i cracked the screen, second one same happened, third one is where the resets start. I recieved a brand new MyTouch 4G from Asurion, in result of my damaged claim. From day one, without even loading any new applications the phone would automatically just shut down. When you turn it back on it says " Your phone has just recovered from a abnormal reset, would you like to tell HTC?" and If i would try to power it back on, the battery is usually "drained" but give it a few minutes, turn it on, and the battery will be "full" without even placing on the charger, but will quickly shut off again, even with it saying it has full battery. Im not sure what to think about this, considering i just sent that phone in, and now im on my 4th one and its doing the exact thing. I have done a factory reset and the hard key master reset, with no luck. Im guessing im sol and need to do a complete clean out? Sound like a virus to anyone? Because i have Anti Virus on my phone, and it turns up clean every time.
