About forum readability

Android Central forum front page is a very, very long list of sections, everything brought to front page. 37 screens. How do you use that?

Front page should be table of contents. Listing only major topics.

Did you know there is a Pi section? Ain't nobody have time to scroll that far? There are not many posts there, maybe because Pi is rare device, or maybe because forumers never knew it existed.

This forum also seems to be too device-centric, from every possible manufacturer, every possible model, all separated to their own compartments. I would guess, that over 60% of questions asked are not model - or even manufacturer - dependent. Same questions could be asked for S6 and S8 and Alcatel and... While android itself is fragmented, this forum seems to be a lot more. Information is not broadly available when it could be. There is always "General News & Discussion" but...

This post should really be in Site feedback. Good luck finding it :D

The Forum 'home' is a section in dire need of an update. I have new designs done but we are struggling to make it a high enough priority to tackle in the short term with the other projects we have going on :(

Thanks to all!

I posted to official thread also with an image of front page... I was a bit afraid that it would either kill the forum or show in 1:1 scale (which would had been great fun) ;)

It's good to hear that improvements are coming, I'm looking forward to see them in action. As a (non-web) developer I fully understand how it goes :D
