AC app background color?

With the lollipop update I see a number of people complaining about the white background as a battery eater. I use the AC app and I have white background on the app (forums at least). Am I missing a setting to turn it black, or should the app be considered a battery eater too?

That's what I was missing. I don't care for it visually as much - especially with the bright white Samsung keyboard at the bottom. But I guess that's the trade off. Hopefully I'll get used to it.
