Accelerometer not accurate

Hello,

I've been playing around with the accelerometer and when placed on a flat surface the values never hit zero. They always seem to fluctuate. Never settling on one value. I have trying calibrating the device but get the same results.

Is this normal behaviour?

Have you calibrated it yet? There's a built in calibration under settings in some place you wouldn't ever look for it, but I have an app called GPS Status that will calibrate both the gps and the accelerometer.
