I just got a new Pixel 2 yesterday after switching from Windows Phone and there is one feature that seems to be missing that I use most every day. I can't access the Google assistant through the car like I could Cortana.
I have a 2014 300c uConnect system on my car that doesn't support car play or anything like that. It does support Bluetooth in a controlled way. On Windows phone, Microsoft created a Cortana contact for cars so that when you called Cortana using the car controls you could get her to send texts, change songs etc using the car's audio.
Is there anything like that for Android, app or setting?
