Android Central Question

Advised that my phone will not work because of water damage to the screen I want to download some important recorded conversations to my PC. I was told that the recordings would be on the SD card but having connected the card to the PC I can not find the recordings anywhere! Does this mean that my phone will need to be servicable again before I can access the recordings again or is there another way around the problem? Thanks, hope someone can help!

No, "servicable" will probably mean a new motherboard, as well as a new screen - and when you remove the existing motherboard (because it no longer works) you remove everything stored on internal storage.

Next time keep backups of anything important. Cloud accounts are free.
