Hi, has anyone found a solution for accidentally hitting the bottom keys while typing. I am constantly doing this when typing emails, forum posts, texts, etc. Sometimes I lose the data I've entered and it is very annoying. This mainly happens to me in landscape mode and quite often.

I thought a case might help but that doesn't seemed to have worked for me. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Yea its very very annoying the only thing I can say is to try and arch your hand as much as possible...

Just takes some practice. I also have the Thumb Keyboard installed and that has helped alot!

Available through the Market.

This happens to me in landscape mode too when I'm using Swift key keyboard, but no issues with swype.Very easy to do one handed or try the voice button when you're on the go.

For some reason this never happens with me (I used to use gingerbread keyboard, now I use hackers keyboard primarily, in portrait mostly)... but what I do get a lot is missing the space bar. A lot of my texts have a "b" between words instead of spaces. Maybe its from subconsciously avoiding the bottom keys?

I read a thread somewhere about someone putting a thin strip of adhesive rubber just above the soft keys so he could "feel" the boundary and never hit them accidentally.

But mostly I think people just get used to it.
