Accidently deleted photos from DCIM folder....HELP

I accidently deleted photos from the DCIM folder and would like to recover them. What do I need to do? I have put the phone in Airplane mode to prevent it being overwritten until I can get help.

Were they being backed up to the cloud? If you have access to a PC, try going to https://www.google.com and see if your photos are there.

Putting it in flight mode does not help it dont stop phone frm writting wotever it wants to write on sdcard. Flight mode only stops ur signals.
As for deleted pics did you made an onedrive account when you start using your phone? Or any other cloud drive where it asked to upload/save your photos? If you havent then it gets tricky. Search online for sd card pic recovery software, install it on ur pc, connect phone, run the software, select phone memory(sd card) as location of recovery and cross all fingers close ur eyes and pray hard.

Thanks everyone! I did find them in my Google cloud photo backups! Thank goodness. I was so tired last night that I deleted the wrong pictures from my S6 and then because I was so tired I couldn't think how to recover them. All is well and I thank you for your help.
