Account Sync details doesn't include Contacts, just "People details"

[Android Central Question]

I have a Google Pixel that has Android 9 and I had several issues with my Contacts not syncing. Decided to remove the Google account and re-add it.

Now, when I look at my Account sync details, I no longer have "Contacts", just "People details". How can I add "Contacts" back to the Account sync details?
