Welcome to Android Central! On my TF300, I disabled a lot of apps to make it run a little faster. Try disabling Asus Sync (assuming you don't use it) and Chrome (stick with the stock Browser). I also think Nova Launcher performs a little better than the stock launcher.

My A700 seems to run much better with the CyanogenMod ROM installed. Running 10.2 now, and ready to try 10.3.
