Acer Iconia a1 810 KitKat vs JellyBean

Hi people i would like to know what is better the kitkat version or the jelly bean version on the acer iconia a1 810 and also i would like to know if the kitkat version could introduce the transparent notification bar with no root.

Does it run smoother and how can i go back to 4.2.2 in this device with no root.

I would suggest updating to 4.4.2. Aside from any visual or feature enhancements, there are security improvements that you should have. If you don't like the update there isn't a way to restore JellyBean.

Since most OEM's offer some level of tweaks (skins) to their Android Updates you do benefit from security patches and enhanced features Google has rolled out. Keep in mind though, once you update you cannot go back so check out the forums for user feedback and also see if there are any YouTube Videos as well.

The bottleneck is that you cant come back without rooting but thank you guys
