Activated or not activated Evo shipped

If you order online from Best Buy, do they ship activated phone? I have two lines. I am eligible for upgrade on one line but would like to use EVO on my second line. Will it work if ordered online from Best Buy?

As far as I know, they aren't activated until you turn the phone on for the first time. It will activate through Sprint's servers. When you buy if from BB online, it asks you all your account information so it makes sense.
