Active 2 draining during flight on a plane

[Android Central Question]

My Active 2 works well when at home, but the battery goes rapidly down from calculated 22 hrs to zero during my 5 hrs flight. Wifi, bluetooth is off, GPS is off, screen on 10 sec....
What in the heck is draining the watch??

I found the same thing with my Huawei Watch. It survived MUCH better when I used airplane mode on it, does your watch have that?
