Active Edge and google pixel buds

so I just discovered something interesting, active Edge does not work when your phone is connected to the Google pixel buds. Does anybody know why this is, the moment I turn off Bluetooth my active Edge works again.

Does this happen with ANY Bluetooth device or just the Pixel Buds?

It's because the Pixel Buds are designed for you to touch the right ear bud to start assistant.
